Artist

Nian

Nian (1990, Florence) is a painter and muralist. She studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and subsequently pursued studies in art therapy.
Her research focuses on the female figure and emotional intimacy, where faces and bodies become spaces for perception and listening. Through figurative painting—blending elements of magical realism and primitivism—she creates suspended and contemplative imagery.
Her work explores the complexity of human feeling, evoking intimate atmospheres where diverse emotions coexist.

Cristiano Canali

Cristiano Canali is an Italian perfumer with a fascinating and unconventional background. Raised in a family long rooted in the medical and pharmaceutical sector, he initially planned to follow in their footsteps. However, a chance encounter with Mysore sandalwood during his studies of Ayurvedic products in India radically changed his career path.

Driven by passion, he gained admission to ISIPCA, the prestigious perfumery school in Versailles. This led to an internship in the Netherlands, where he learned the principles of technical perfumery, before moving to Paris to work alongside celebrated and renowned masters of high-end perfumery. He then relocated to the South of France, near Grasse, where he put his skills into practice within a dynamic and international environment. Today, he is a perfumer at the Italian branch of MANE in Milan, where—supported by an on-site creative laboratory—he seeks to shape the future of Italian perfumery.

Among his favorite ingredients, sandalwood holds a special place, representing the bridge between his past as a pharmacist and perfumery. He loves working with opulent floral notes such as magnolia, orange blossom, and tuberose, as well as woods and spices. Through these, he has developed a rich, bold compositional style deeply rooted in nature, with a keen eye for market trends and the latest extraction technologies.
